Marty’s Story

There is really not a lot of difference in my life pre and post-kidney donation. I am still fairly active, and I have recently completed the “3 peaks challenge” (climbed the 3 highest mountains in Ireland) for Charity.   I donated my kidney to my sister, who had been on dialysis six nights a week.

I was a perfect match and the fact that I was given the opportunity to make my sister well again.  Seeing her healthy and back to her old self has been very rewarding.
